National Action Plan

security. Also NAP

Pakistan’s 20-point counter-terrorism plan, agreed by the government and political parties in late December 2014 after the attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar on 16 December, in which more than 140 people, most of them children, were killed. Its points included lifting the moratorium on the death penalty, military courts, strengthening the National Counter Terrorism Authority and acting against terrorist financing and hate speech. Progress on it is a recurring theme of US assessments of Pakistan.12
