Aims and scope

Aims

The journal aims to give researchers and practitioners a dedicated, open venue for careful work on US-Pakistan relations: work that is grounded in evidence, clear about its methods and useful to people who make or study policy.

Scope

We welcome submissions on, among other subjects:

  • diplomacy, alliances and the history of the bilateral relationship
  • security, counterterrorism and arms control
  • trade, investment, aid and economic statecraft
  • energy, climate and critical minerals
  • technology, cyber policy and connectivity
  • migration, diaspora communities and people-to-people ties
  • regional dynamics in South Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific as they bear on both countries

We publish research articles, policy analyses, review essays, book reviews and commentaries. Comparative and interdisciplinary work is welcome, as is work by early-career researchers and practitioners.

Editorial board

The editorial board is being formed. Members will be listed here once confirmed.
