Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad
security. Also Radd-ul-Fasaad
A nationwide Pakistani counter-terrorism operation announced by the military’s media wing on 22 February 2017, after a wave of attacks that killed more than a hundred people in a week. Unlike earlier offensives in the tribal areas, it centred on intelligence-based operations across the country, including Rangers-led operations in Punjab, border security and the recovery of illegal weapons, to consolidate the gains of earlier campaigns such as Zarb-e-Azb.1
