A separatist militant group fighting for independence for Balochistan, which has attacked Pakistani security forces, Chinese nationals and CPEC projects. The United States listed it as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist in 2019 and, on 11 August 2025, designated it and its suicide wing, the Majeed Brigade, a Foreign Terrorist Organization, citing attacks including the March 2025 hijacking of the Jaffar Express. Pakistan had long sought the designation.12
