Simple resolution
institutions. Also H.Res., S.Res.
A measure adopted by only one chamber of Congress, numbered H.Res. in the House and S.Res. in the Senate. It deals with that chamber’s own business or states its opinion, for example on events in another country, and does not go to the other chamber or the President. It does not have the force of law. Resolutions about Pakistan’s elections, human rights or relations with the United States are usually of this kind.1
