A Pakistani state-owned defence organisation in Islamabad that the United States says develops Pakistan’s ballistic missiles, including the Shaheen series. On 18 December 2024 the US State Department sanctioned it under Executive Order 13382, with three Karachi-based companies, for acquiring items such as special vehicle chassis for Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missile programme. Pakistan’s Foreign Office called the sanctions unfortunate and biased.^1,2
